This Page is Part of the Documentation of TT-CRM (22.05 “Apollo”)
TT-CRM has four sections of configuration.
The general configuration, which holds the Basic Values that are needed to run TT-CRM, the User Groups, which define User Groups and their Roles, the WhatsApp for Business Configuration, and the Document Server Configuration, that is needed if you want to store Documents.
Most of the information is already set up by the Team of TensorThings. But you are free to change the Values at last.
General Configuration
The Field Root Company defines the Company that will be shown up at the Bills at last. You can choose every Company you’ve defined in TT-CRM. The Bank accounts and addresses automatically appear on the Bills.
The Fields for Email Setup are needed to enable TT-CRM to send Mails, these values have to be set up to add new Users and keep 2FA (Two Factor Authorisation) working.
The VAT Number must be set and will take place on the Bills. Also the Currency. You can add a Currency Symbol or Letters to show on Bills and within Data the Currency you are working with.
Please be aware that if you change the Currency all historical Data will show the new Currency too.
2FA and Login Enabled are security options. If 2FA is set up, TT-CRM will send an Email to the User every time, the User proceeds a login into a new Browser or a new Device to add a second layer of Security. This Email contains a Code that the User must enter, to proceed with the login.
Login Enabled defines if Users can proceed with the login to TT-CRM. This can be disabled to do maintenance work. Please note, that Root User can always log in to the TT-CRM.
The Contact Setup Section is used to define the major Email Address and Phonenumber that will take place on the Footer of a bill.
Config Groups
Groups or User Groups are the User-Right-Management of TT-CRM. A User has a Role that defines what feature the User can use with TT-CRM.

You can update or Remove a Group every time. Please keep in mind, that a User without a valid Role cannot use TT-CRM.
To configure a User-Group you have to create a new Group or update a new one. You should choose a meaningful name for it to identify it later.
Besides the name of the Group, there are two important features. The first Checkbox set the Root-Rights. If this is set, Users within this Group can use every feature of TT-CRM and can act like Admins.
Customer Mode means that a user can only change and see Datasets that are related to his Company (Bills, Contacts, etc.).
Please keep in mind, that clicking both (Root-Mode and Customer-Mode) the Root-Mode will affect and the Customer-Mode will be ignored.
At last (if Root-Mode is not enabled) you add the features of TT-CRM that can be used by the User within the Group. Every selected Feature will be accessible after the click on “Save new Usergroup”.
WhatsApp for Business Configuration
This Configuration holds all the necessary information to use the WhatsApp for Business feature in TT-CRM.
Besides the general Configuration of API Key, API Secret, API Server Address/IP, and API Port that usually is configured by the TensorThings Team during the installation.
Additionally, you can set up if you want to receive Documents or Images that are sent to you. If you disable these features, the sender will receive a message that you decline this Message.
Document-Server configuration
In the Customer (Contacts) Detail Screen, you can add Documents to the Contact. To enable this feature, you have to tell the TT-CRM where to store the Data.
Usually, the Field Folder is set during the installation by the Team of TensorThings.
Please keep in mind, that changing the Folder could result in a loss of Data.
The Mine-Type enables different Types of allowed Files. This setting is important to deny Filetypes that can harm the Server and your Infrastructure.
Document-Types are topics you can choose freely. It is just a free Text to separate Files (Bills, ID Cards, etc.) later. The topics must be separated by a semicolon (;).
Maximal Size defines the maximal Filesize of a single Document. The Value is shown and set in MegaBytes.
